Hunter Altvater

Corporate Law

Hunter concentrates his practice on general corporate work for small to medium sized businesses.  He advises clients in all areas of business development including entity formation, contracting, corporate governance, equity financing, mergers and acquisitions, and general business matters.  Hunter specifically enjoys working with creative entrepreneurs in the start-up community and has a personal understanding of the hurdles and obstacles that such businesses face.  Prior to joining Stock Legal, Hunter founded his own digital education company and also worked for a technology start-up that operated an on-demand mobile application.  As a result, Hunter has a unique perspective that allows him to advise owners to develop strategies for their businesses beyond ordinary legal representation.

Hunter earned his J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law.  He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado, where he earned a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Economics.  He is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Illinois.

Hunter is an avid piano player, enjoys hiking and skiing in the great outdoors, and loves making PB&Js for his two young children.
