Leia White - A Day in the Life of a Stock Legal Intern

Welcome to a day in the life of a marketing intern! As a part of this team, my role focuses on bolstering our online presence, updating our website with fresh content, and engaging our audience through our various social media platforms. Join me as I take you through my typical day at Stock Legal!

My day typically starts around 10 a.m. I arrive at the office, grab my morning coffee and enjoy my fruit of the day (recently, it’s been peaches ). As I eat a quick breakfast, I review my emails, check my Slack messages, and note my top priorities for the day.

My first task of the day typically varies; however, lately, I make the first thing I do to update the firm’s website with information. As a part of my responsibilities, I ensure that the site reflects the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding the our talented attorneys. I collaborate with the attorneys to gather the necessary information and add their bios, blogs, and professional accomplishments to the website’s “About” section. I also collaborate with the team on their blog posts that showcase the firm’s expertise and address common legal concerns. Once the content is written, I edit and proofread it. Then, I will optimize the blog posts for search engines using the appropriate keywords and techniques.

Around lunchtime, I usually head out to a nearby café or restaurant, grab lunch, and return to eat with my fellow interns and team. This time is always filled with laughter, jokes, and random, interesting topics of the day.

After lunch, my afternoons typically consist of managing a variety of different projects that the marketing team works on. Sometimes I assist our social media coordinator with gathering approval for content highlighting the firm’s achievements, sharing legal insights, and promoting blog posts. Other times, I attend meetings with the team to discuss our progress and objectives with current projects. Like the other interns, I end the day at 4 p.m. and prepare for the next morning, being sure to say bye to everyone on my way out.

Being a marketing intern here at Stock Legal offers a unique opportunity to be creative, grow professionally, and to learn new things. By the end of this internship, I will have gained invaluable insights and developed transferable skills that will serve me well in my future career.
