Meet Lindsey Fafoglia! The Newest Member of Stock Legal

Hello! My name is Lindsey Fafoglia and I am thrilled to be joining Stock Legal this summer as a Summer Associate!  I just finished my second year of law school at Saint Louis University, and I am interested in entering the field of real estate law or corporate law. I am so excited to learn more about these practice areas and more from the very talented and experienced lawyers here at Stock Legal. After just a few days in the office I am blown away by everyone's work ethic and the positive work environment. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to spend my summer here. Everyone is truly amazing!

I grew up in West County, but currently reside in the Central West End. I just purchased my first home, a historic condo in the CWE, and I could not be more excited about it. It feeds into my passion for learning about the history of St. Louis. I hope to use my legal career to further community development and improve the St. Louis community in any way possible.

For undergrad, I attended University of Missouri - Columbia (Go tigers!) and graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism from the Missouri School of Journalism. I absolutely love Mizzou and still cannot believe my time there is over, but Columbia will always hold a very special place in my heart. I worked as a reporter, producer and anchor at KOMU 8 News in Columbia during school and got my first job out of school as the Morning News Anchor at WREX-TV in Rockford, Illinois. My time in journalism and as an anchor taught me more than I could ever imagine. It was an honor to serve the community and wake up with viewers every morning, but I ultimately decided to go back to school and become a lawyer! It was the best decision and I absolutely LOVE law school. Plus, I got to reunite with my high school sweetheart. We have been together for 9 years and attended Mizzou together, and we were both willing to make sacrifices and change up our career plans to be in the same city.

In my free time you can catch me exploring Forest Park, the CWE, and all the unique neighborhoods in the city. I spend time reading books about St. Louis history and architecture and enjoy visiting and walking around the areas I read about. This is also always a great excuse to try a bar or restaurant in each neighborhood I visit. You can catch me at any of the breweries or restaurants in St. Louis. I love to try new food and drinks and I am always up for a good time with friends!

I look forward to learning about various areas of law this summer to figure out what I want to practice after graduation next year. I know I will obtain excellent experience working with all the amazing attorneys and staff here at Stock Legal!
