Meet Melody Peterson! The Newest Member of Stock Legal

Hello everyone! I am so excited to join the Stock legal family as a legal assistant! In the couple of days, I have been a part of the Stock legal family, I have felt nothing but positivity and brilliance amongst all I have met. I am delighted to be a part of all that makes Stock Legal great.

I am originally from Chicago, but no worries I have always been a Cardinals’ fan! The pizza in St. Louis definitely does make me miss home!

Due to COVID-19, I graduated last May in my living room with my B.S in Sociology. GO QUARANTINE CLASS OF 2020! I am currently in school pursuing my masters in Sociology as well, so encouragement is always welcomed.  In my previous work experience I worked for a family law firm, a domestic violence organization, and a mental health coalition as a client intake specialist. So, you will often hear me talking about self-care and making sure that you recharge healthily. I also oddly enough have an extensive background in accounting, specifically in charitable foundations. I guess the takeaway from that is that I have a detail-oriented heart of gold.

I have accomplished many great things in my life, but my greatest accomplishment to date is my 5-year-old son Princeton. Princeton is a proud MICDS ram, baseball player, and a navy belt in Tae Kwon Do…he is also not shy about any of these facts. Princeton and I are both avid readers, we love new adventures, and we equally love lounging and watching fun things on Netflix. Most likely if the weather is nice, you will catch us at either Creve Coeur Lake or on Art Hill. I will most likely be chasing down my little daredevil as he speeds away on his bike or having my millionth conversation about stranger danger as he befriends every person that he meets.

Fun fact about my is my middle name is unique…no seriously my middle name is literally Unique. The more you get to know me, you will know why!
