Hi! My name is Olivia Syrup and I am so excited to join Stock Legal as a summer associate! I was born and raised in St. Louis and just completed my 2L year at Saint Louis University School of Law. Before law school, I earned my bachelor’s in political science and sociology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Since childhood, law school has always been in the back of my mind; my favorite show growing up was Law & Order! But it wasn’t until high school when I was applying to colleges that I began seriously thinking about being an attorney. My favorite subjects growing up were always the social sciences and reading/writing, so I knew I wanted to go in that direction. When I began my undergraduate degree, I was still unsure about the law school path, but once I took a comparative law and politics class my first year of college, I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in law.

Since starting law school, I’ve developed an interest in trusts and estate planning.I have really enjoyed my transactional law classes as SLU Law, and I am excited to get some hands-on experience in this area and learn from the experienced attorneys here at Stock Legal!

Outside of the office and school, I enjoy watching reality television, reading, listening to music, and exploring St. Louis!
