Meet Robert Wald, our talented summer associate who will be joining us this summer. Get to know more about Robert and his role with us in this introduction.
Hi everyone, my name is Robert Wald and I am thrilled to be joining Stock Legal as a Summer Litigation Associate! I just finished my first year of law school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and hope to one day work as a corporate litigator, as well as pursue my interests in real estate law. I am excited for the opportunity to work with the many talented attorneys here at Stock Legal and look forward to learning from them about their respective expertise across different facets of law. Moreover, I have already enjoyed the unique culture here at Stock Legal which is focused on collaboration and efficiency and look forward to being a part of and contributing to said culture.
I am born and raised here in St. Louis so having the opportunity to stay home and work for a cutting-edge law firm was an opportunity I could not pass up. After being referred to Stock Legal as a potential internship opportunity, I looked into Stock’s culture and operations and the more I learned about the firm the more I wanted to have the opportunity to work with the attorneys here at Stock. Specifically, Sara’s unique vision on the delivery of legal services in the next ten years was something I wanted to learn more about, and ultimately be a part of.
After my first week of working at Stock Legal, I can confidently say that this is truly a unique opportunity to learn about the law in a fast paced, but supportive environment. Everyone at Stock Legal has been very welcoming and helpful throughout the onboarding process, and I am extremely excited to begin working with everyone through the summer. I am especially excited to have the opportunity to sit in on client meetings in order to see how our attorneys interact with our clients as well as seeing the intricacies of a daily life of an attorney. Moreover, coming from a Finance background from my studies at the University of Missouri, I am excited to have the opportunity to apply some my skills to both help operations at Stock Legal, and to assist our clients who operate their own business.
As a law student, and someone who ultimately wants to start their own practice I can think of few better opportunities for me to develop as both a legal and business professional. I look forward to developing my skills as a future attorney and learning more about what it takes to establish and build a legal practice. Special thanks to both Sara, and Jen for giving me this opportunity, and I can’t wait to see what this summer has in store for me!
