Why are we blogging here at Stock Legal?

We’ve been at this for a few months now . . . Thank you very much to our constant readers!  We see and appreciate you.  Our hope is that we are giving you informative and, dare I say, entertaining content on relevant legal topics.

You may be thinking - Why a blog? Well, we know you probably don’t read legal blogs for entertainment, so you must be here because you want to learn how we can help you with your legal needs.

We also know that so much legal writing on the web is loaded with impenetrable legal jargon, which is primarily meant for other lawyers.

That’s why created a space on our website and this blog -  to share some of our experience and insight about the legal challenges that small- and medium-sized businesses face, gained from working with hundreds of businesses like yours. That’s also why the blog posts here are written in English, for humans, not in legalese for lawyers. Plus, each post here reflects not only the expertise but also the personality and voice of one of the members of our team.

Our hope is that reading the blog will help you ask more informed questions and become a more savvy client. We also hope it will give you a sense of who we are, how we work, and what it might be like to work with us.

We place a high value on trust, because we’ve seen how productive a partnership between attorney and client can be when it’s grounded in a trusting relationship.

Of course, we know you’re not going to trust us just because of a few blog posts. Our hope is that by showing you our approach, sharing some of our knowledge, and speaking about our work in a no-nonsense way, this blog can be a step on the path to earning your trust.
