I am thrilled to join Stock Legal as a summer associate, where I look forward to combining my background in communications and small business with my legal studies.
Hi! My name is Taylor Waterkotte, and I am thrilled to begin my time at Stock Legal as a 2026 Summer Associate! I am a rising 2L at Saint Louis University School of Law. Before law school, I earned my B.A. in English with a minor in Mass Communications from SIUE.
Growing up, reading and writing classes were always my favorite, so I knew I wanted a career where I could use those skills regularly. Although I was initially not sure I wanted to go to law school, a professor suggested I apply after finishing my undergraduate degree. I am so glad I did, because I have greatly enjoyed all of my experience at SLU Law so far!
Prior to starting law school, I worked full-time for about a year and a half as a social media manager for a small international business. This experience, along with experience in my own family’s many small businesses has led me to pursue working at Stock Legal, where I will be able to play a part in helping other small businesses succeed.
Outside of work and school, I enjoy camping and traveling, going to concerts, and taking my 3 dogs on walks through Forest Park.
As a Biological Engineering student at LSU, I am thrilled to bring a new perspective to Stock Legal this summer while gaining invaluable hands-on experience in business operations.

Hi! My name is Olivia Syrup and I am so excited to join Stock Legal as a summer associate! I was born and raised in St. Louis and just completed my 2L year at Saint Louis University School of Law. Before law school, I earned my bachelor’s in political science and sociology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
