Chris was born and raised in Carmel, IN. In 2009, he moved to St. Louis and attended St. Louis University (“SLU”) for undergrad, majoring in Exercise Science. After completing his undergrad at SLU, Chris went on to receive his master’s degree in athletic training before attending St. Louis University School of Law, where he focused on corporate and health care law.

After law school, Chris began his career by helping interested individuals apply for licensure with Missouri’s Department of Health and Senior Services to operate medical cannabis licenses. Through their consulting firm, Chris was able to help dozens of newly awarded license holders navigate the rules and regulations of their applicable states, solidify business development goals, and compliant operations.

Before joining Stock Legal, Chris worked for a multi-state vertical cannabis company, with operations in Oklahoma and Missouri. He served as the company’s general counsel, chief of compliance, and director of business development. He was responsible for overseeing five (5) cannabis assets in Missouri, including their transition from medical only to adult-use and medical licenses.
