Hello! My name is Lindsey Fafoglia and I am proud to be writing my second bio as a member of Stock Legal! My first as a summer associate and law student, and now this one as a full-time member of the Stock Legal family. I am so excited to transition into my first career as an attorney at the place that has made me love the profession so much.
Stock Legal is such a special place to me. I first learned about the firm from my nightly strolls around my neighborhood, the CWE, where I spotted the Stock Legal office. After chatting with Sara, I knew I had found my place. The people, the clients, and the laughter that radiates through this beautiful, historic home that we are lucky to call “the office” made this place stand out. But on top of that, learning that everyone here is so dedicated to the clients and doing exceptional legal work? I was hooked! Working at Stock Legal is truly my dream job.
I graduated from Saint Louis University School of Law in May 2022. During my time as a law student, I was an editor and staff member of the SLU Law Journal, on the Women Law Students’ Association executive board, and a student lawyer at the SLU Law Clinic. While working in the law clinic, I was able to dip my feet in transactional law and help form neighborhood association entities in St. Louis city. I quickly realized that transactional work was the right path for me, and I am eager to dive deep into the worlds of corporate law, real estate law, and estate planning at Stock Legal. I graduated from SLU with honors and was named the Mel Friedman Fellow in Real Estate Law for exceptional research in real estate law.
Before law school I attended Mizzou and graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. My first job was as the morning anchor at a TV news station in Northern Illinois. I quickly decided to make the jump to law school and never looked back! Now I spend my time exploring the CWE and other STL neighborhoods with my fiancé, Michael, trying new restaurants, researching STL’s vast history, and traveling.
I am so grateful to join a team of thoughtful and ambitious people and develop my skills from the exceptional attorneys here. I am thrilled to finally be a full-time member of the Stock Legal family!

Through a specialized honors program at St. Joseph’s Academy, high school junior Mallory Kirkpatrick stepped out of the classroom and into Stock Legal to explore the reality of a career in law. Her experience highlights the vital role of teamwork and professional culture in a modern law firm, proving that early career exploration is about much more than just learning legal skills.

People often ask me why I love my job—helping clients with their estate planning. The answer is simple: my clients themselves. Every meeting is a new opportunity to connect with people and hear their stories. I get to learn about their families, their careers and the lives they’ve built—often over decades of hard work, sacrifice and love. It’s a privilege to sit with them and see everything they’ve accomplished laid out on paper.
